Open DICOM CD/DVD command
File menu
Use this command to open an existing study from a DICOM CD/DVD disk. The CD/DVD disk must contain a DICOMDIR file.
The Open dialog box provides controls for locating and opening a DICOMDIR file that contains the study.

The Open Study dialog box
The Open Study dialog box allows the user to preview and select a study of the DICOMDIR.




In this dialog box the DICOMDIR's contents are displayed in a tree form.
The first nodes of this control are the patient items. Under each one of the patient node the user can inspect the content nodes of the studies.

Open Study button
This button is enabled when the user has selected a study in the tree control.
Press the button "Open Study" to open the selected study. This button does not close the dialog box, thus the user can select and open additional studies.

Done button
This button closes the dialog box.

This button displays this help topic.
